Three UK partners with Internet Matters

Three UK has partnered with Internet Matters, as part of its commitment to promoting digital well-being and online safety for children and families.

In light of the rise of social media usage amongst young people and digital safety being a key issue, the partnership underpins Three’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to connect with society and be a good corporate citizen.

The partnership complements Three’s child protection initiatives including filtering content for anyone using our network who’s under the age of 18 and age verification, aimed at protecting children from inappropriate content.

Juliet Callaghan, Director of Corporate Communications at Three UK, said: “We are delighted to be a part of Internet Matters and be a part of the conversation on internet safety for our customers. We understand the importance of online safety and have a responsibility to help our customers feel safe online.

“Together, Three and Internet Matters will work on campaigns to promote online safety to our customers. Our vision is to give better connectivity, every day, for every customer. That’s why we pledge to enable connections between people, places and ideas, wherever they are most needed, and to support the causes that do.”

Rachel Huggins, Co-CEO of Internet Matters, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Three to our coalition of partners. By combining Three’s dedication to connectivity with Internet Matters’ expertise in online safety education, we’re excited by the opportunity to make a significant impact in ensuring the online experiences of children and young people are positive and enriching.”
