Reconnected: Spotlight on Good Things Foundation

Earlier this month, we relaunched our Reconnected programme, enabling disadvantaged people to get connected. We’ve seen a great response to the programme so far, having successfully paired dozens of handsets with new owners to support their digital journey.

It’s a real team effort between those who donate handsets, the role that Three plays as well as our charity partners who work to make this happen.  We wanted to shine a spotlight on each of the three charities that we are working with who help to make everything possible and tell you more about them. This spotlight is on Good Things Foundation.

Who are Good Things Foundation?

A leading social change charity who are working to fix the digital divide – for good. Good Things Foundation‘s vision is a world where everyone is digitally able, equal and safe, so they can be healthier, happier and better off. They work directly with partners in thousands of communities across the UK and further afield.

How we are working together

Three has had a relationship with Good Things Foundation for a number of years, more recently supporting the UK National Databank, which gives community groups across the UK access to free data on Three.

They are also helping us support Ukrainian refugees displaced due to war. This has been the immediate focus through the relaunch of Reconnected, and we’ve been able to provide devices along with 6 months Unlimited data, calls, and texts on Three to 4 charities specifically helping refugees: Smartlyte, Libertie Project, Being Woman and Training MatchMaker.

Our work with Good Things Foundation gives us access to their incredible network of charities and organisations who are committed to helping digitally and socially excluded people all across the UK.
