Learn and explore as Three expands Discovery Store programme
Three, the UK’s most reliable phone network* is proud to announce that it has extended its Discovery programme. With new Discovery stores opening in Swansea and Islington, the two additions are the second and third to open since Three launched the concept design for people to explore and learn about all things tech.
Three’s Discovery spaces are dedicated to help people explore mobile technology and get the best from their devices, whether it be social media, photography or troubleshooting clinics. A wide range of free, fun and interactive sessions will be available for all customers including schools, community groups and local businesses.
The Discovery spaces are kitted out with state of the art devices, including the latest iPads and Android tablets for people to check out. There will also be Apple TVs and Chromecastes for film and TV fans to really bring the magic of Discovery to life in a fun and engaging way.

Whether you want to learn about how to get to grips with a new device, how to build your business online or need advice on how to start a blog, Three’s Discovery Programme has the answer and we couldn’t be prouder to have them as part of our offering.”
Three will be a selection of sessions running at each of the stores suitable for all ages. In order to keep customers interested and inspired, Three will host photography sessions, hints and tips on becoming a blogger, tricks of the trade from an established journalist and even a class on teaching grandparents how to use the latest tech!
Upcoming events
Swansea sessions
Read all about it! (Wednesday 16th March, 5pm-6pm)
Three will be holding a session on how to get into journalism with leading journalist Claire Rees. Claire has over 12 years experience working as the fashion editor at the Western Mail and on some of the most prestigious titles including Vogue, BuzzFeed and Grazia. This session will provide you with very best tips on how to get that front-page, what makes a good story and how to get it through those tricky editors.
Break into the tech business (Wednesday 23rd March, 5pm-6pm)
For those that are interested in becoming the next Mark Zuckerberg there will be a session with Swansea based tech entrepreneurs from Tech Hub who will reveal their top tips and secrets about how they used tech to make it in the business world.
Blogging master class (Wednesday 30th March, 5pm-6pm)
Three is inviting down any budding blogger to hear from leading Welsh influencer about how they made it in such a saturated market – the blogging sphere. Our guest star will not only reveal how to be a successful blogger but also share her favourite looks for the season.
Islington sessions
Mum’s the Word (Wednesday 23rd March 2016, 4.30pm-6.00pm)
English Mum, one of the UK’s leading mummy bloggers is hosting a session for aspiring and newly launched blogs to give advice on how to make your blog a success in 2016. This will include tips on how to maximize social media as a platform and how to create content that will drive engagement.
Food Photography Masterclass (Thursday 7th April, 5.30pm-6.30pm)
A leading foodie and Instagrammer will also be hosting a session for London based foodies and bloggers on how to take the perfect food shots for Instagram to build followers and create a buzz online. Our guest star will provide hints and tips on how to use tech to reach thousands. From the perfect angles for your pudding and the best lighting for your cupcakes, all will be revealed on Thursday 7th April.
