MP John Grady visits Three UK Discovery at local primary school to champion digital skills for young people
Three UK’s award-winning Discovery initiative, which delivers free, curriculum-linked digital skills workshops to schools across the UK, recently welcomed John Grady, Member of Parliament for Glasgow East, for an exclusive visit to see the initiative in action.
During the visit, John Grady MP met pupils and teachers, observed interactive sessions, and learned how Three Discovery is helping young people build creativity and confidence through technology. Activities included digital music making and animated adverts, giving the MP a first-hand look at how children use digital tools to create original content.
Speaking to pupils, John Grady MP emphasised the importance of equipping the next generation with digital skills to thrive in a technology-driven world.
Emma Wilson from Three Discovery said, “We’re proud to deliver the Discovery to schools across the UK, helping young people develop the digital skills they need for the future. It was fantastic to welcome John Grady MP and showcase how these workshops inspire creativity and confidence in the classroom.”
John Grady MP added, “It was a pleasure to visit St Bridget’s Primary School and see Three’s Discovery programme in action. This initiative is giving students the digital skills and confidence they need to thrive in an increasingly connected world. Programmes like Discovery play a vital role in preparing young people for future opportunities and ensuring no one is left behind.”
The visit is part of Three Discovery’s wider mission to support digital education across the UK by making learning fun, accessible, and future-focused. Three UK is taking meaningful action to ensure everyone can stay connected in support of bridging the digital divide.
