Unicorn cabs create magic for commuters

The streets of London are receiving a touch of magic today much to the surprise of early morning commuters thanks to mobile network Three and ZTE.   As part of their #MagicTogether campaign, ‘unicorns’ drawing a rainbow coloured carriage are taking busy workers to their offices and morning meetings to mark the official launch of the new ZTE Blade V7.

Operating for the rest of this week the ‘Unicabs’ will cover commuter hotspots across the city – Monument, Southwark and Canary Wharf – offering free rides to cheer up down-in-the-dumps Londoners as the dark mornings draw in.

The beautiful white and rainbow-coloured ‘Unicorn’ drawn carriages, named Unicabs, are big enough to seat four colleagues. It also has the new ZTE Blade V7 handset inside so passengers can snap pictures of the sights that they usually miss when stuck on the tube and try out the phone’s various features.

Michelle Clarke from Shoreditch, London, said: “I usually get the tube to work but this morning I hopped on a unicorn parked outside my usual tube station, Bank – it was definitely an experience I won’t forget in a hurry, even if I did get a few strange looks from passers-by!”

The ‘Unicabs’ are operating on Wednesday October 26 from outside Monument tube station, Thursday, October 27 outside Southwark tube station, and Friday October 28 outside Canary Wharf DLR station between 7am-11am each morning.
