Three UK announces connectivity support package for Ukraine refugees

Ukraine: Three announces connectivity support package for refugees arriving in the UK

Mobile network Three today announces a new package of support for Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK. As of Thursday 10th March, a free 30-day preloaded Pay as You Go SIM card will be made available to any incoming refugees from the conflict in Ukraine. This will include unlimited domestic calls, text and data for use within the UK.

The move bolsters Three’s previously announced solidarity to Ukrainians, having removed roaming charges anywhere in Ukraine, as well as charges associated with calls and texts from the UK to Ukraine, which will be credited back to customers’ accounts.

Preloaded SIMs are available for free to all refugees from the conflict in Ukraine now in the UK via Three’s 311 stores located up and down the country.

Elaine Carey, Chief Commercial Officer at Three UK & Ireland, said: “Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine at this traumatic time. As a mobile network, the best way we can support is to ensure refugees arriving in the UK from the conflict and customers currently in Ukraine can stay connected to the people who matter to them.
