Three Business announced as the new regional ambassador for the NWCRC
The North West Cyber Resilience Centre (NWCRC) has announced that Three Business – the B2B arm of Three UK – has joined them as a new regional ambassador. The telecommunications business will use its technical expertise to help the NWCRC tackle the ever-growing threat of cyber crime for businesses.
Three Business also joins existing regional ambassadors Siemens, Northrop Grumman, Salesforce, Sellafield and CyberSec Professional on the Guidance Council, which helps to inform the strategy and direction of the not-for-profit organisation.

However, a general lack in understanding of the risks and prevalence of cybercrime persists in the business community and unfortunately can result in costing thousands to rectify. That’s why we’re joining forces with the NWCRC to help educate businesses in the North West about the rising threats of cybercrime and how to be proactive in protecting their business.”

The NWCRC has just celebrated reaching 1000 members across the North West, and also recently launched its funded Merseyside Cyber Security Programme, which offers 300 free places to small businesses on Merseyside. Its Greater Manchester Cyber Security Programme also helped 300 businesses across the region from 2021 to 2022.
About the NWCRC
The NWCRC was set up in Greater Manchester in 2019 as a pilot scheme to support businesses in the region with the growing threat of cyber crime and cyber fraud. It was so successful that it was expanded for the North West region and then also rolled out to other regions across England and Wales and included in the HM Government National Cyber Strategy 2022.
