Celebrating our 2023 All Stars: Jeanne Boiko

At Three, we know the importance of recognising our people. Our 3Celebrates programme is our way of celebrating our people for living our values.

Throughout the year, employees send each other ‘thank you’ cards to show their appreciation of the work they have done. Anyone who receives a thanks can be selected as a Monthly Star, Annual Star or All Star and can receive special recognition along with financial awards.

At the end of last year, we announced our 2023 All Stars. Our All Stars are the individuals, stores and teams who truly excelled in living our Values.

All Stars were nominated by the Leadership teams and all their Thanks were reviewed by a judging panel of people from across the business.

Becoming an All Star is an amazing achievement, and we want to celebrate and learn more about the winners. Over the coming year, we’ll be interviewing our 2023 All Stars and the next in our series is Jeanne Boiko.

Jeanne was recognised as being outstanding all throughout 2023 for constantly stepping up be acting as an acting ASM role or leading her team on the shop floor. She interacts brilliantly with customers that come into her store, delivering an amazing and energetic customer experience. She’s always taken responsibility between the new starters that have come into store and they’ve had absolutely brilliant feedback. She is also extremely engaged and manages to take any stresses away from the rest of the team when it comes to experience or performance.

Tell us about your role and your career to date at Three

I’m a keyholder in our High Holborn store, also helping my lovely manager to run the store, as our store doesn’t have assistant manager. I been working at Three for 14 years (I know sounds crazy). For the first 10 years, I worked part time and when my daughter went to secondary school, I moved to full time.

How did being awarded an All Star make you feel and what does it mean to you?

Being awarded made me feel appreciated, happy and my first word was: Finally 😊. I thoroughly that all my hard work in Three was acknowledged and appreciated.

What are your favourite things about working at Three?

My favourite thing about working for Three is getting to work with and meet great new people. I love the people I work with and have always had great teams in all the stores I’ve been in.

What do our values mean to you and which one do you most connect with?

My favourite value is Working as one Team. I believe great things can be achieved from people working together.

What is the best career advice you ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to be yourself and never give up!

How do you unwind/switch off from work?

I spend my evenings with my daughter and my holidays with my family – we make sure we don’t talk about phones.

Have you any plans for spending your All Star award. 

I will spend my All Star award on presents for my family and to spa treatments for myself.

How does receiving a 3celebrates make you feel and what do you like about the platform?

I think 3celebrates is an excellent way to say Thank you to people who you work with or to acknowledge your appreciation to someone. When I receive Thank you card it always makes my day and make me feel appreciated.

How do you ensure you use 3Celebrates to give back to your colleagues often?

I make sure I send Thank you cards to my colleagues at least once a month.
