i.am+ unveils voice-enabled music service on dial, available exclusively on Three

AneedA guided music service includes more than 20 million music tracks, only available on Three

dial, the futuristic new wearable from i.am+ featuring voice-first AneedA with an unlimited music service featuring more than 20m music tracks, is available to pre-order today exclusively at Three, the UK’s most reliable network*.  The i.am+ ad-free music service is available on the dial at no extra monthly cost unlike other music offerings, and better still, Three is providing all streaming and downloads free of any data charges on all dial plans.

A smart band that blends high tech with high fashion to push the boundaries of wearable technology, dial runs AneedA, a conversational artificial intelligence platform that - unlike pre-existing virtual assistants - has the ability to learn and tailor responses to each consumer.

AneedA does more than just provide a list of search results: call on her to find the perfect track, create custom playlists on the go, or to update you on the latest news and concerts for your favourite artists.  AneedA can also recommend the hottest restaurants nearby, tweet, take a picture, or even grab a taxi or flight. With AneedA, conversation-based engagement makes traditional mobile search irrelevant.

Every dial has the i.am+ music service built-in - an AneedA powered, ad-free music service that doesn’t require a monthly fee. The music service boasts more than 20m tracks at launch, with new tracks being added every day. To add to this, Three is ‘zero rating’ all related streaming and downloading from the music service, a unique offering in the UK. So not only do you get a whole catalogue of music at your fingertips, you can download tracks and listen to it as much as you wish without anything being deducted from your data allowance.

dial features its own Three SIM card but unlike other smart devices, it operates completely untethered from a smartphone. This provides consumers with the freedom to text, call, email, play music and manage their life effortlessly from their wrist.

Also included with the dial is a pair of EPs - high-end, high-fashion Bluetooth earphones from i.am+ that combine high-end audio and wireless tech, with a custom look designed by i.am+. EPs sync with the dial to create the perfect mix of voice and music.

dial is 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS enabled. It has a 1.63” AMOLED screen, with a 2 Megapixel front-facing “selfie camera” for taking pictures on the go. Pictures and downloads can be saved in 32GB worth of onboard storage.

Three is the exclusive UK partner network for i.am+ and has been voted the UK’s most reliable network by YouGov for the seventh consecutive quarter*, meaning dial users can rest assured they will stay connected when on-the-go.

Lianne Norry, director of brand and marketing communications at Three, said: “We are really excited about the launch of dial and its new music service, is a step towards a new and exciting mobile experience for our customers.”

“We pride ourselves in being ahead of the curve and identifying future mobile technology trends and felt that zero-rating all related music to this device gives our customers the freedom to enjoy music whenever they want.”
