3 bundles MiFi® with the iPod touch
From today, 3 will begin to bundle MiFi with the iPod touch on a Pay Monthly tariff.
The iPod touch is one of the most popular devices for accessing the internet on the go. And because it's Wi-Fi enabled, you can use MiFi from 3 to connect it to the internet to browse your favourite websites, update your Facebook®, download music & apps or send emails while you're out and about. MiFi is fully mobile so you can now get Wi-Fi whenever you want.
Get MiFi combined with the iPod touch for £23 a month for 24 months along with 5GB of internet access. That's roughly 72 hours of browsing, 800 songs and 400 applications. The 8GB iPod touch can store 1,750 songs, 10,000 photos or 10 hours of video.
Charlotte Blanchard, Director of Products and Services at 3 said, "The iPod touch offers a really great browsing experience, but as with so many devices with WiFi capabilities, the internet function rarely gets used because hotspots are so hard to come by. MiFi on 3, also known as Mobile Wi-Fi, was launched in September this year. It's available on Pay As You Go for £49.99 or £69.99 as a Ready-to-Go kit which gives you 3GB of data to use over a 3 month period. It’s also available on one and 18 month plans.
